Panic Attacks Cure

– Stress, Anxiety or Panic, Which Is Which?

Before you can begin to look for a Panic attacks cure, you have to make sure you are correctly identifying your symptoms.  So here we are going to briefly discuss the difference between Stress, Anxiety and Panic.

Let’s start with Stress.  Stress is a interaction with a social environment. It is oriented towards a person’s sorting or categorizing a non-hostile, exterior event.  The categorizing or sorting is based upon an individual’s personal suppositions, thoughts and outlook or anticipations. These can be referred to as “social constructionism.”

Anxiety, on the other hand, is a “physiological state”, which means it is caused by what is called the “sympathetic nervous system” or SNS.  Unlike Stress, SNS is always present at some root level.  It then becomes increasingly present in traumatic or stress circumstances. This is when the “flight or fight” reaction happens.   Anxiety differs from stress in that it does not need an exterior event to arise.  One notable thing about anxiety is that it is frequently rooted in non-rational, non-logical fears.

Panic is somewhat related to the “fight or flight” system.  It is a response that occurs from exterior stimulation.  Panic is a byproduct of the SNS discussed above.  Generally, panic is a quick arising fear which can overcome and even supplant our own rational thought.  When a person believes they are under circumstances that are threatening their life or health, panic generally occurs.  Panic is a state of anxiety. Once we know that our panic stems from anxiety, we can work towards our panic attacks cure.

Anxiety does not necessarily come from a real or concrete, requisite fear or action of defense. Retreating from circumstances that cause us anxiety might bring about a temporary relief; however, these thoughts are increased when we are under comparable circumstances.  This causes us to continually retreat from such circumstances rather than working through any anxiety.
